McPherson residents will vote on an important issue November 7, which introduces a half-cent sales tax renewal to support street improvements. The City of McPherson recently hosted a series of community conversations to help voters understand the issue. More than 200 residents attended the meetings and provided feedback related to street concerns and road improvement projects.

Follow-up information can be viewed, including a questionnaire allowing residents to identify priority street projects. The questionnaire will be available through October 1.

Questions, comments or concerns can also be addressed to the Public Works Department or Commissioner of Streets, Larry Wiens, at620.245.2545.
