ELYRIA — Elyria Christian School’s volleyball team made its home debut on Tuesday a successful one.
In a double dual with Wakefield, the Eagles won both ends.
The first dual was a 25-19, 25-21 success behind 5 kills by Christin Vetter and 9 assists by Katelyn Huddle.
The Bombers took Elyria to three sets in the nightcap. Wakefield won the first set 25-22, but the Eagles roared back for 25-22 and 26-24 victories as the deciding set went extras.
Melea Redenbaugh had 9 kills, and Kortney Brumley had 7 kills and 4 aces.
Elyria is now 3-1 on the season.
