“Everybody has heard the saying, “Good things happen to those who wait” and it came true,” Inman coach Jay Parsons said. “We waited for the heat, wind and rain to move out and got cool temperatures with a little wind, but you could still feel the warmth of the sun. Overall it was a great day to be competing. There were a lot of good runners at this meet. If I look at place I wasn’t sure how well each of them ran. However, once I look at times, I can honestly say they ran very well. I think all the runners still have more and can continue to improve their times. The goal isn’t to peak quite yet. but each runner needs to show what he or she is capable of as the season draws to a close.”
