Mac's Richardson on preseason KCAC basketball team

McPherson College’s Cami Richardson has been named to the All-KCAC Preseason Women’s Basketball Team announced on Thursday.

Richardson, a Hesston native, is a sophomore and last year was the KCAC Freshman of the Year. 

She started all 30 games for the Bulldogs, leading the team in total scoring (340), scoring average (11.33), assists (113), steals (52), and blocked shots (21) and ranked second in rebounding (203; 6.77 rpg.), while averaging a team-high 31.2 minutes per game. She also shot 45.1 percent (114 of 253) from the field, 31.9 percent (29 of 91) from behind the arc and 74.1 percent (83 of 112) at the line and had seven double-doubles.

Others on the team are Jordyn Miller of Southwestern, Candy De Los Reyes and Kelsey Switzer of Saint Mary, Morgan Eidger and Taylor Deniston of Tabor, Lexi Evans and Yowana Posey of Friends, Tifffany Rieger of Oklahoma Wesleyan and Jenna Kramer of Ottawa.
