Central Christian College’s short-handed women’s soccer team finished its season here Wednesday with a 3-0 loss against Mid-America Christian in a game that actually started Oct. 14 and was halted by lightning before being resumed.
Central was without four starters due to injuries and one with a family emergency. Central played tough for the most part, but the lack of depth was telling.
Central finished the year 1-9 in the Sooner Athletic Conference and 4-14 overall. The Tigers had made a trip to the national tournament each of the last two years, but injuries depleted the roster.
Six seniors played their final game for Central.
