McPherson High seniors Darrius Armstrong and Devin Cape were selected first-team All-State for Class 4-1A soccer, as teams were released on Monday.
Armstrong was the leading scorer for the Bullpups, who took third in the state. Cape was a defensive stopper for an MHS defense that was difficult to score on.
MHS also had three players earn second-team honors — Britton Haigh, Drew Schrader and Trenton Stecklein.
Andover Central’s Jackson Lewallen was named Offensive Player of the Year, Miege’s Alex Rotert was Defensive Player of the Year and Andover Central’s Davis Joseph was Goalie of the Year. Miege’s Nate Huppe was Coach of the Year.
