JV, girl wrestlers shine at Great Bend

GREAT BEND — McPherson High took both its JV boys and varsity girls wrestling teams to Great Bend for a meet on Saturday.

Bullpup coach Kaden Kretzer was ecstatic with the performances of the Bullpups, who were able to get in a lot of matches. The highlight performer for the boys was Garrett Rausch at 145, who was 5-0 and won all his matches by falls. For the girls, Haley Schaefer was 3-0 at 138 with all her wins by falls as well.
