Central Christian College’s basketball teams remain at home on Thursday as they entertain Southwestern Christian University at Alexander Arena.

In the 6 p.m. women’s game, the Tigers are looking for their first Sooner Athletic Conference victory as they are 0-6 in the SAC, 1-13 overall.

The Eagles are a .500 team, 3-3 in the SAC and 6-6 overall.

The men’s game could be a barnburner. Central is just 1-5 in the SAC, but most of its losses have been close, including a 2-pointer last Thursday to defending NAIA national champion Texas Wesleyan. The Tigers also lost a 3-pointer last Saturday to Southwestern Assemblies and last month lost by a point to University of Science and Arts.

Southwestern Christian’s men are 4-2 in the SAC and 9-5 overall.

Game time is 8:00.
